We work with several standard Gulet-yachts, which are equipped with 5 to 8 double cabins for our holiday guests, depending on yacht size, of course.
No yacht is like another. Therefore, our charter yachts do not differ in size but also regarding the general facilities. So the following description is just an example
Our main gulet "MUTLU KAPTAN" was built with accommodation for 14 holiday guests in 7 double-berth cabins with an en suite bathroom having shower and toilet.

Built in 1999, Turkish-flagged ketch, length aloft 22 metres, width 6.40 metres, 284 HP CAD motor, 10 kw generator, 5,000 l fresh water tank, 2,500 l diesel fuel pump.l
Yacht accoutrement:
Fly bridge with sufficient sun deck and sun mattresses, awnings, cushioned seats on the afterdeck and large dining table and chairs, saloon with coffee area and dining table, hi-fi equipment, 1 dinghy with outboard motor, snorkelling equipment, masks, fishing gear, 1 canoe.

Navigation system, life raft, life jackets, fully equipped galley, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine
Yacht cabins:
7 double-berth cabins. All cabins with an en suite bathroom having toilet and shower. The cabins themselves are appropriately equipped with double beds, cupboards and hangers.
Crew of the charter yacht:
3 people (captain, chef and sailor) are accommodated in separate cabins.

What does "Gulet"really mean? - A term for a traditional Turkish sailing ship
The exact origin of the word 'gulet' is not known. On the French Mediterranean coast 'Goulettes' are known since the 18th Century. The generic term gulet in Turkey appears not before the accelerated tourism in the 80s. Meanwhile, Gulet includes wooden ships built as Spitzgatter and Spiegelketchen. There are even people who call steel and fiberglass-built wood-like vessels as Gulet, when they were built at Turkish shipyards and are similar to the design.
It is possible that the Turkish gulet origins from the Venetian 'Galiota'. A variety of nautical terms came indeed from the Italian-Greek-Turkish seaman gibberish to the Turkish coast. So 'galiota' is also valid for a 'galleon' with cargo form. And 'galiota' could come from 'galea' a term for different types of vessels from the 12 until the 18th Century.
